Third-party notices
Laitis depends on work by other projects. Their licences and service terms remain separate from the Laitis personal-use licence.
1. Software and fonts
Main desktop components include Avalonia (MIT), .NET (MIT and accompanying notices), NetSparkle (MIT), NLayer (MIT), SharpZipLib (MIT) and sherpa-onnx (Apache-2.0). Platform packages can also contain native dependencies with their own notices.
Audio capture and playback use OpenAL Soft 1.23.1, packaged by Silk.NET.OpenAL.Soft.Native and distributed under LGPL-2.0-or-later and the additional notices in its source distribution. Its corresponding source is available from that version’s upstream source tree. Its licence permits the rights it describes, including modification and reverse engineering for debugging such modifications; Laitis’s licence does not remove those rights.
The application and website use Inter; the application also includes Source Code Pro. Both are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Font copyright and licence files accompany the fonts. Website fonts are served locally.
These are principal component notices, not a claim that every build has an identical dependency list. Copyright and licence notices accompanying a particular binary remain authoritative. Contact blasterloremaster@gmail.com if you need a missing notice or source information required by a component licence.
2. Optional recognition model
The optional local model is NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 ASR Streaming Multilingual 0.6B, using the sherpa-onnx 160 ms int8 ONNX conversion. It is downloaded separately; it is not represented as an original NVIDIA release of Laitis.
The model is under the OpenMDW License Agreement 1.1. Its full licence and origin notice are placed in the installed model directory. The model’s licence is distinct from the application licence and does not guarantee recognition accuracy or the availability of a particular language.
3. External services and trademarks
Speech services, operating systems, browser stores, GitHub, banks, YouTube and agent clients are independent services. Their names identify compatibility or a destination; they do not imply endorsement or a partnership. Review the external privacy policies and the applicable service terms before enabling them. A service may need its own account, permission, API key or payment.
